About This Scheme

Skill training and financial support for traditional artisans and craftspeople.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana provides end-to-end support to artisans and craftspeople who work with their hands and traditional tools. It covers 18 traditional trades including carpenter, blacksmith, goldsmith, potter, cobbler, etc.

Benefits

Free skill training in 18 traditional trades, toolkit incentive up to ₹15,000, credit support up to ₹3 lakh (1st tranche ₹1 lakh, 2nd tranche ₹2 lakh), marketing support.

Eligibility

Artisans and craftspeople aged 18+ years working in 18 notified traditional trades. Should be registered on the PM Vishwakarma portal.

Who Can Apply

Traditional artisans and craftspeople in 18 notified trades who are above 18 years of age.

Who Cannot Apply

Persons who have received similar benefits under other schemes, government employees.
