Frequently Asked
Questions
Everything you need to know about applying, documents, fees and tracking your application.
No. Every service guide, scheme listing, job alert and blog article on FORM FILL is readable without an account. Creating a free account only becomes necessary if you decide to let us file a form on your behalf, upload documents, or view the charges for our own service. Reading is always free and always public.
Yes. Registration and account maintenance are free. We make money in two ways: by charging a service fee when you ask us to actually file a form for you, and through advertising on the free guides. We never charge simply for reading a guide or browsing our listings.
No. Registration works on a mobile number and email address. You only provide identity documents when you actually apply for a specific service, and only the documents that service requires.
Charges are shown inside your account after you sign in, on the service page and again on the payment screen before you confirm anything. We deliberately do not publish a full public price list, because prices change with government fee revisions and we would rather show you the live figure than a stale number. Nothing is ever charged that was not shown to you first.
Almost every government form carries two separate costs. There is the government fee, which goes to the department or the post office, and there is our own service fee, which pays for the work of preparing, checking and submitting your form. We always show both separately and add them to a clear total, so you always know exactly what you are paying for what.
If an application is rejected, the exact amount charged for that application is credited back to your FORM FILL wallet. It is the same figure you paid, not a recalculated one, and the credit appears in your wallet transaction history straight away. You can use it to reapply immediately rather than paying a second time.
No. Every service we file carries a charge, because submitting a form on someone’s behalf takes real time and real verification work. We would rather be straightforward about that than hide it in the small print. What is always free is reading all our guides, checklists and listings.
The wallet credit is immediate and visible as soon as the rejection is recorded on your dashboard. If you have also paid by card or net banking to top up your wallet, the unused balance stays in the wallet for your next application. We do not automatically push balances back to the payment source, because that would reverse the government fee portion you may still need.
It depends entirely on the service, so each service page and guide carries its own checklist drawn from the current official requirement. In practice you will usually need a proof of identity, a proof of address, a photograph and sometimes a caste, income or domicile certificate. Check the checklist on the specific service before you start, because a missing document is the most common cause of rejection.
We accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, PDF, DOC and DOCX files. Each individual file can be up to 10 MB, and you can attach up to 10 files to one application. Photographing a document on your phone is fine as long as all four corners are visible, there is no shadow across the text, and the writing is readable at full zoom.
Fix the record first rather than hoping it is overlooked. If your Aadhaar has the wrong spelling, correct it with UIDAI first, download the updated e-Aadhaar, and use that for everything afterwards. If Aadhaar is correct but another document differs, tell us when you upload it. Cross-document name mismatch is the single most common reason a perfectly valid application gets rejected.
Documents you upload are stored encrypted, are visible only to you and to the staff handling your specific application, and are never sold or shared with third parties. We delete what we are not required to keep once your application reaches a final state. You can ask us to remove your uploaded files at any time by contacting support.
It depends on the department. Filing the application with us usually takes one to two working days once your documents are complete. The department’s own processing time is separate and can run from a few days for certificates to several weeks for anything involving police verification or a physical appointment you need to attend yourself.
Yes. Every application you file with us appears on your dashboard with a live status: submitted, under review, forwarded to the department, and finally approved or rejected. You get the same reference number that the department uses, so you can check progress from their website as well as ours.
For some services, yes, and we will tell you clearly before we file. Where a physical biometric appointment, police verification or original-document check is required, we cannot do it on your behalf. In those cases we prepare everything so that your visit is short and you leave with nothing outstanding.
Tell us immediately. Most fields can still be corrected while an application is in draft or awaiting submission. Once it has been filed with the department, changes usually mean a withdrawal and a fresh application, which is why we confirm your details with you before submitting anything.
Every listing is imported from or cross-checked against a published government notification, and we show the source and the last-synced date. We never ask for a payment to unlock an application number. Always read the original notification on the recruiting body’s own website before you apply, and be wary of recruitment notices that arrive only on messaging apps.
Closed jobs and scholarships stay visible with a clear “Deadline passed” or “Closed” label rather than disappearing, because people search for old notifications too. Active listings are always listed first, so you will not mistake a closed one for something you can still apply to.
We support UPI and net banking through our payment gateway, and Paytm. All payments go through an encrypted gateway; we never ask for card numbers, CVV or UPI PIN over phone, email or chat. If anyone claiming to be from FORM FILL asks for those details, it is a scam.
Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant gateway over an encrypted connection. We never store your card or banking credentials. If a payment succeeds but your application does not appear on your dashboard, contact support with the transaction reference and we will reconcile it.
No. FORM FILL is a private online services company. We help people prepare and submit government forms as a paid service. We are not a government body, we cannot guarantee that a department will approve any application, and nothing we publish is legal, tax or financial advice. Always confirm final rules on the official department website.
Every guide is written from primary government sources, reviewed by a second person before publication, and carries a visible last-updated date. Live listings show when they were last synced. Our full editorial process, including how we handle corrections and how we use automation, is published on our Editorial & Content Policy page.
