1 We are not a government body
FORM FILL is a private online services company. We help people prepare and submit Indian government forms for a fee. That is our business, and that is all we are.
We are
- A private company that charges a fee for a service.
- A filing agent: we prepare and submit forms on your instruction.
- A publisher of free guides, checklists and government listings.
- A party bound by our own Terms, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
We are not
- A government department, ministry, municipal body or any official agency.
- Endorsed, empanelled or authorised by any government authority.
- A law firm, tax consultant or licensed adviser of any kind.
- A party to any contract you enter into with a department.
If anyone contacts you claiming to speak for a department on our behalf, or asks for a payment to release a form or an application number, it is not us and it is not legitimate. Report it to us.
2 Not professional advice
Nothing published on this site, and nothing we say while preparing your form, is:
| Subject | What our content is not | Who to ask instead |
|---|---|---|
| Rights, notices and disputes | Legal advice on what you should do or claim | A qualified lawyer |
| Income, tax and deductions | Tax advice or a calculation you can rely on | A chartered accountant or tax practitioner |
| Business structure and compliance | Company or tax structuring advice | A chartered accountant or company secretary |
| Visa, work permit and emigration | Immigration advice or a eligibility opinion | A registered immigration adviser |
| Medical or insurance claims | Medical, financial or insurance advice | Your doctor, insurer or an authorised adviser |
Our guides are written to explain the paperwork, not to advise you on what is best for your situation. Where a decision has legal, financial or personal consequences, please take professional advice first.
3 No guarantee of outcome
It is easier to understand this as a single table of what we promise and what we do not. We are happy to be held to the left column, and we ask you to plan around the right.
| We do guarantee | We do not guarantee |
|---|---|
| Your details are checked against your documents before we file | That a department will approve the application |
| Every charge is shown to you before you pay | A particular approval date or turnaround time |
| Nothing is charged when we send your file back to you | That a document a department issues will be error-free |
| The exact amount charged is refunded if we file something that is rejected | A refund of a government fee once paid to the department |
| We tell you when a form needs a physical visit by you | That a government portal will stay online or keep its format |
| Our guides state a source and a last-updated date | That a page is still current at the exact moment you read it |
In addition, we do not promise that:
- Your application will be approved, or approved within any particular timeframe.
- A certificate, licence or registration will be issued to you.
- A document we prepare will be accepted without a request for changes.
- Information published by a department today will still be accurate when you read it.
- A scheme, benefit or job listing will still be open when you see it on our site.
The limit of this page is simple: we control how carefully we work, not what a government department decides afterwards.
4 Accuracy, and information that changes
Government rules, fees, forms and deadlines change frequently, often without much notice. We publish what we can verify from official sources and we date everything, but we cannot guarantee that a page reflects the position at the exact moment you read it.
| Page type | What we show | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Service guides | A reviewed, dated walkthrough of a process | Re-check the official department instructions before you apply |
| Job and scheme listings | A last-synced timestamp | Read the original notification on the government portal |
| Blog guides | A visible last-updated date and a named editor | Confirm anything critical with the department |
| Our charges | The live figure at the moment you open your dashboard | Always rely on the amount on your payment screen |
Government portals themselves go down, change their menus and return errors. That is outside our control and we are not responsible for it, though we will always tell you when we know a portal is down.
5 Government decisions are theirs, not ours
When we file an application, we submit it to the department concerned and act as the applicant’s agent for that purpose. From that point, the decision belongs to the department. We have no authority to approve, expedite, influence or overturn any decision.
We will keep you informed, we will pass on any legitimate correction the department asks for, and we will escalate a genuine administrative error on your behalf where one exists. We will not misrepresent your position to obtain an outcome you are not entitled to, and we will refuse instructions that would require us to.
6 Links to other websites
Our guides link to official department websites so you can verify things yourself. We also link, where relevant, to other sources. We do not control any website we link to.
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of a linked site.
- A link is not an endorsement of that website, its operator or anything it publishes.
- A linked site may have its own terms and privacy policy that govern your use of it, not ours.
7 Advertising on our pages
We carry advertising so that our guides, checklists and government listings remain free to read. Ads are served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense, and we do not control which ads appear or who sees them.
- An advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser, their product or their claims.
- We do not accept payment to influence the content of any guide, listing or ranking.
- We never share your uploaded documents, form data or application details with advertisers.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time using the links in our Privacy Policy, section 5.
8 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Indian law allows, FORM FILL is not liable for:
- A decision, delay or rejection by any government department or authority.
- A change in government policy, fee or eligibility rule after a page was published.
- Any loss caused by relying on free content in place of professional advice.
- Any loss arising from information or documents you supplied that were wrong or out of date.
- Failure or unavailability of a government portal, payment gateway or other third-party system.
- Loss of profit, business opportunity or goodwill arising from use of the site.
The cap
Our total liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The full terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
10 Automation, bulk listings and AI tools
A large directory of thousands of schemes, jobs and services cannot be typed by hand, so we use software to collect and normalise records from official sources. That is worth being explicit about, because it shapes what you should trust.
| What we automate | How it is checked | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Collecting and normalising scheme and job records from official feeds | Values are taken from the source and carry a last-synced date | Read the original notification before applying |
| Formatting thousands of listing pages consistently | Only entries with real sourced data are published | Ignore anything that looks padded or duplicated |
| Structuring a draft article before a writer starts | A named human editor writes, checks and approves every page | Look for the byline and last-updated date |
| Producing category artwork on listing cards | Generated from the category only; it carries no factual content | Ignore the artwork, read the text |
We do not generate eligibility rules, benefit amounts or document lists. Those come from official sources and are checked by a person. Our full editorial process is set out in the Editorial & Content Policy.
11 Reporting an error
We would rather know. If you find something inaccurate or out of date, tell us and we will check it and correct the page. Include:
- The full address of the page you are referring to.
- The specific line that looks wrong.
- A link to the official instruction or notification that shows the correct position, if you have one.
- The date you checked, since requirements do change.
