About This Scheme

Paid one year internship with Rs.5,000 monthly stipend for youth aged 21 to 24 in top 500 companies.

PM Internship Scheme provides internship opportunities to the youth of India in the top 500 companies of India, offering practical on the job experience to enhance employability. Interns receive a monthly assistance of Rs.5,000 including contribution from the government and the company, along with a one time grant of Rs.6,000. The scheme targets young persons who are not in employment, education or training and have completed Class 10 onwards.

Eligibility

Indian citizens aged 21 to 24 years who are not in full time employment, education or training, with Class 10 or above qualification and family income up to Rs.8 lakh.

Who Can Apply

NEET youth aged 21 to 24 years with educational qualification from Class 10 onwards, whose family income is not above Rs.8 lakh per annum.

Who Cannot Apply

Persons below 21 or above 24 years, those in full time employment or regular education, graduates from IITs, IIMs and NITs, and those with family income above Rs.8 lakh.

Application Process

Register on the PM Internship portal pminternship.mca.gov.in, complete the profile and apply to internship opportunities listed by companies. Selection is done by the partner company.
