About This Scheme
Coaching and educational support scheme for minority students preparing for competitive and professional examinations.
Gyan Setu and related coaching schemes of the Ministry of Minority Affairs provide free coaching to students from minority communities for competitive examinations, professional courses and entrance tests. The scheme supports coaching centres and free coaching facilities to improve the success rate of minority students in civil services, banking, SSC, engineering and medical entrance examinations.

Eligibility
Students belonging to notified minority communities studying for competitive or professional examinations with family income within the prescribed limit.
Who Can Apply
Students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi communities who meet the income criteria and educational qualification requirements.
Who Cannot Apply
Students from communities outside the notified minority groups, applicants with family income above the notified ceiling, and candidates already availing a similar coaching benefit.

Apply through the National Scholarship Portal or the empanelled coaching centre notified by the Ministry of Minority Affairs after the scheme notification is issued.
